Grant Writing and Scientific Peer Review Workshop
Bogotá, Colombia, June 27-29, 2012 

Sponsored by U.S. National Institutes of Health and Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social República de Colombia, in partnership with Pan American Health Organization (PAHO)
The primary objective for this workshop is to increase participants' understanding of how to prepare a competitive grant application. This workshop will be limited to 50 participants with preference given to junior or senior faculty members/researchers and science administrators in a university or research center in Central America (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua) or the Andean sub-region (Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Bolivia). NIH hopes to host several small workshops in the future. 



Anyone interested in participating in the workshop must complete an application. Candidates/successful applicants will receive travel awards.

Taller para escribir propuestas para subvenciones y de revisión  científica de pares, 
Bogotá, Colombia, 27-29 de junio del 2012


Patrocinado por los 'Institutos Nacionales de Salud` de los Estados Unidos y Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social República de Colombia, en colaboración con la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) 

El objetivo primario de este taller es aumentar la comprensión delos  participantes de cómo preparar una aplicación de subvenciones competitiva. Este taller se limitará a 50 participantes de preferencia profesores que empiezan o acreditados e investigadores y/o adminstradores de ciencias en una Universidad o centro de  investigación, investigadores y administradores de ciencia en una universidad o centro de investigación en Centroamérica (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panamá, Nicaragua) o la subregión andina (Colombia, Perú, Ecuador, Venezuela y Bolivia). NIH espera realizar varios talleres pequeños en el futuro. 

 

Todos los interesados en participar en el taller deben completar una aplicación.
Los candidatos/y aplicantes seleccionados recibirán subvención para el viaje.
