One of the main elements of the
RedAPS is the possibility of being part of communities of practice.
The Community of Practice is a tool
that promotes collective learning through the interaction of different actors
at different levels and enables us to identify and document the experiences and
knowledge mapping in APS, the exchange of this information, participation in
discussion groups and consultation with community members, and identification
of gaps to promote research. The ultimate goal of the Communities of Practice
is problem solving through collaborative learning.
This Collaborative Network is part
of the context of e-communication strategy adopted by the 51st health. Directing
Council of PAHO/WHO.
The aim of the Strategy is to support the use cost-effective and secure
information technology and communications in health and / or fields related to
it, including the health care services, surveillance and health documentation,
and education, knowledge and research in health. "
